About Nimicah Publishing

Stories of Faith, Legacy & Purpose

Nimicah Publishing is an independent publisher committed to bringing meaningful, purpose-driven books into the world.

We believe some stories do more than entertain. They preserve history. They strengthen families. They give language to experiences people have struggled to name. They challenge assumptions, deepen faith, and leave something meaningful for the next generation.

Nimicah Publishing exists to develop and publish thoughtful works that encourage reflection, inspire growth, preserve legacy, and help readers navigate the intersections of faith, family, history, leadership, and life.

Our Story

Nimicah Publishing grew from a deeply personal commitment to storytelling.

What began with the creation of books for children expanded into a larger vision: to create a home for stories that deserve to be told, preserved, and passed forward. From children's books celebrating history, faith, and discovery to deeply personal works exploring family, fatherhood, perseverance, grief, and hope, Nimicah's growing catalog reflects a belief that books can become part of a family's inheritance.

The publication of Nicolas' Big Adventures demonstrated what was possible when education, imagination, history, and family came together on the page. Surviving the Silence: Learning Not to Quit When God Is Quiet expanded that vision into adult nonfiction, telling an intimate story of faith, infertility, adoption, fatherhood, disappointment, and enduring hope.

These works helped clarify the larger purpose of Nimicah Publishing: to create books worth reading today and remembering tomorrow.

What We Believe

At Nimicah Publishing, we believe every meaningful story carries something forward.

Some stories carry faith.

Some preserve history.

Some help families have conversations they might otherwise avoid.

Some allow children to see themselves, their heritage, and their possibilities differently.

Some remind readers that they are not the first to walk through difficulty, and that their present chapter does not have to be their final one.

That understanding shapes what we create, how we approach storytelling, and the kinds of books we hope to bring into the world.

What We Publish

Nimicah Publishing develops books centered around several areas of purpose:

  • Christian & Inspirational Nonfiction - thoughtful works exploring faith, theology, spiritual formation, perseverance, and hope.

  • Memoir & Personal Transformation - honest stories of lived experience that invite reflection, healing, courage, and growth.

  • Family, Fatherhood & Legacy - books that strengthen families, celebrate fatherhood, and encourage intentional generational investment.

  • Children's Literature - engaging books designed to nurture faith, imagination, curiosity, identity, and a love of learning.

  • Black History & Cultural Storytelling - works that preserve history, honor those who came before us, and introduce new generations to stories they should know.

  • Leadership & Personal Development - resources for individuals seeking to lead with character, purpose, wisdom, and authenticity.

As Nimicah grows, our commitment will remain the same: meaningful books, thoughtfully created, with something worth leaving behind.

Our Mission

Our mission is to publish meaningful stories and resources that strengthen faith, preserve legacy, inspire growth, and equip generations to live with greater purpose.

Faith. Family. History. Leadership. Legacy.

Looking Forward

Nimicah is just getting started.

Our vision extends beyond the books we have published today. We are building a publishing company capable of developing meaningful works across generations, genres, and voices while remaining grounded in the values that inspired our beginning.

In time, we envision Nimicah becoming a home for other writers and storytellers whose work aligns with our commitment to faith, family, history, leadership, cultural storytelling, and legacy.

We believe the most meaningful stories are not simply published.

They are entrusted to us.

And we intend to handle them well.
